middlefinger: (you're my protection)

Wynonna, for once in her life, does not try to fill the silence with babbling or apologies or excuses. None of that seems quite right, and Elena deserves time to process. Dying isn't easy -- one of the memories she got recently involved a groundhogs day where she kept dying and resetting things.

But that's a story for another day. This isn't about her and she's trying her best to remember that.

She follows Elena to the coffee table, sitting down. She's unsure of what to ask, maybe she'll just start with what she knows.

"He told me why he did it." To break a curse placed on him by his own mother. "And that you survived, though through no mercy of his. Beyond that...I didn't ask a lot of questions then. I don't think I was ready to know." She's not sure if she's ready now, but she's going to try to be.

"I know you have a truce with him....how do you trust him, given what he did to you?"

It seems like an easy question to start with -- Wynonna is not sure she could ever be that big if Bobo Del Rey or Bulshar showed up here.
