I'd thought as much from the... words.

[ ahem. but confirmation is helpful. there are plenty of people especially men in westeros who have sex as casually as they'd like.

but there was no term for it at all. jon is too worried about creating bastards to have casual sex thus why he couldn't "do it" with ros. ]

Do they have a way to contact him? Is that something we can do now?

[The sooner they get rid of Barbas the better.]

So apparently there's a radio in Barbas' office we need to steal to contact him.

(not that it matters since that radio is going to be stolen but wynonna doesn't know this.)

[ elena looks over to jon, a quiet and fond expression on her face. her amusement is always endeared and never mocking, aware some modern things go over his head. at wynonna's answer, however, she immediately looks back over to the rest of the group. ] A radio?

[stupetballs]

That's ... kind of old school. But I guess it would have to be to fly under the radar.

[She then glances over to Jon.]

A radio is kind of like a Blackberry, but less portable. They send messages to people who can hear the same frequency.

[ jon can feel elena's gaze on him which is why he looks back at her with a tiny fondness, an almsot smile in his eyes too. and then he nods to waverly, grateful for her explanation. of course, the modern world has another way to message one another that does not involve paper or birds. ]

Getting into Barbas' office won't be easy.

We'll need a plan, and we'll need to scout it out. [ to see how well it is guarded and how the door is opened. it will take time, but having a path feels better than having none. ]

And we'll need a distraction -- a way to make sure Barbas is kept out of his office while we're trying to get into it.

(this is not wynonna and waverly's first time trying to break into something high security but hopefully it goes smoother than when they tried to get into black badge headquarters.)

Barbas and the guards that flank his sides at almost all times now.

[ barbas probably knows what the results of an approval poll would look like, and while elena is satisfied to learn he can be hurt — why shield himself with so many guards if he does not fear this? — it does make things tricky. ] We might want to consider bringing Aiden in on this.

[ his line of work does demand stealth.]

[Waverly was heading in this direction too - because this is information he and Ray should know, and it might impact what they decide to do next. She's glad Elena got there first.

She fishes out her phone an holds it up.]

[And with that, she sends off a quick text to the boys:]

Can you guys swing by the bar?

We'll be down in a few.

[Aiden figures something's up, or she wouldn't have asked them to come by the bar so abruptly. it won't take him long to get down there, that in mind, fearing -- not necessarily the worst, but not anything good, either]
