He and I were susceptible to Hell's suggestion. He had come in quite bruised and whipped. I might have offered, half-heartedly. He did not decline the offer.

yeah the bruised and hurt part doesn't surprise me -- he did jump in on one of my punishments but still??? you turned him????? hell really has no grasp on consent, does it?

There is one other thing. Lucifer, in repayment for being freed, would like to free us all. He would like to return us to Alice.

Our world. And everyone to theirs. Lucifer claims, I know he only claims, that his God preferred we do our penance in his Hell. There are other Lucifers and other Gods. If Lucifer can be trusted, he wants what we all want. To be out from under his God's thumb.

as much as i don't like lucifer, and that's a lot....i've heard that's what he really wants before. and after how god reacted and barbas took over...maybe there's truth to it

Barbas is bombastic, a braggart and a school mark on his best day. I do not believe he has Hell's best in mind.
