[Waverly had been just about to slip out when Wynonna called, and as such there's a stack of take out containers sitting on the bar next to her when everyone arrives. Her plan for the evening had been maybe going to see Lilith, hoping that she might have the answers that Lucifer couldn't give her.

She's also hoping to convince Aiden and Ray that the rest of Team Human is safe enough to be let in on things, that they're trustworthy enough, but so far those pleas are falling on deaf ears.

She doesn't blame them for being suspicious, but maybe they're reaching a point where they don't have a choice. Still Wynonna is coming with information, and she can't help but be intrigued.]

Should I be taking notes?

Absolutely, baby girl.

(because so far a lot of what she's heard from the different messages people got are like pieces of a puzzle but how they fit together? that's to be determined.)

[ speaking of notes —

elena stepped into hella shorty's alongside a brooding northman and brought her own research journal. she's opening it up right about now as she settles into her chair. wynonna has the right idea here: it'll be a good (and useful) distraction. ] We're all ears.

(wynonna grabs herself a bottle of whiskey, taking a swig to try and help with the headache while she continues.)

Okay, so after the literal dinner from hell....some of us started getting messages from Lucifer, including yours truly which means he wasn't necessarily targeting people he expects to be sympathetic to him or necessarily anyone in particular.

[ jon has no research journal, but he sits down beside elena with his arms resting against the table. the night was chaotic, but it would be a relief to know there was some information found in it. something they could take away from the chaos and the bloodlust... and all that happened. ]

...it was related to his blood? [ this is only an assumption, but. if consuming his blood can do all of that, it makes sense it might allow lucifer to send messages as well. ]

Uh honestly? No idea. I'd assume so, or maybe it was because we were all so close to him? Or a combo?

So my message I got was a memory of him talking to this gross demon dude, Mammon. Name doesn't ring a bell for me, but that's why I'm bringing the info to the experts. Anyway, in this memory, Mammon told him to give him a call if he ever needed help.

(there's a lot more but she's trying to give people space to ask questions. )

[ elena straightens at this.

caroline mentioned something similar happening to her, a fact elena plans to share with the class after wynonna lays out all her own cards on the table.

but also: ] Mammon. [ she glances at waverly, remembering a very timely conversation. ]

[Waverly also glances to Jon, because the conversation with Elena is not the only one where that name has come up.]

Lucifer told us about Mammon too. But he was being watched too closely, he couldn't tell us how to reach out to him.

Okay but that isn't all the information I have! So I may have failed to mention this before...but Homelander and Billy Kaplan started a psychic network to talk more privately, where some of us were discussing things, but I also talked to Dean and Sara too, who also had visions.

(the psychic network is also why wynonna has a headache and you can see crusted blood around her nostrils from the nosebleeds. it doesn't come without a cost. wynonna is trying to make room for the new info on the murder board but honestly? she's just getting tangled in the red strings)

So Homelander, in his vision, saw a castle. Some sort of safe haven for demons. Sara saw a pathway in the dungeons near Lucifer's cell -- one that's supposed to be to safe passage. But we haven't found it yet, nor do we know exactly where it leads. Natasha, Homelander, and Billy are going to investigate it.

Another person had a vision of Mammon in what looked very Garden-y to me, more than our Garden ended up being (a look towards waverly before barreling forward.)

Apparently the person who had that vision has met Mammon here, he was one the special guests during the Carnival, the ones we offended with the riots.

Dean's vision was more vague, an urgent sense that we need help, which we can all agree on.

And the finally we got a glimpse into Barbas' office -- there was notes about a Hellburbia 2.0, whatever that means. Barbas and Lucifer also talked about Leviathan and the spear.

[ Jon meets Waverly's gaze, nodding in a quiet, stoic way. Lucifer did tell them about Mammon. It was the one person he trusted to help. They asked how they could contact him, but he said he couldn't tell them. Wynonna fills in with more information, and Jon soaks that in too.

...Hellburbia 2.0? What? ]

Sounds as if we need to find this Mammon.

Lucifer mentioned us needing outside help. He said some other sources too, but he couldn't tell us how to reach them.

[ It's clear they need that power to change what's happening in Hell before it's too late. ]

[ there is concern on elena's face at the sight of the dried blood under wynonna's nose, but she understands the need to barrel forward. every piece of information wynonna gives is critical, and far more than they had since the dinner came to its disastrous end.

it also confirms a suspicion she had. ]

Caroline had a vision, too. We were confused, at first, but it sounds like they're all parts of a whole.

[ in as much detail as possible, she'll recount to team human what caroline described. ]

[Waverly turns the information over in her head, and she knows she has the solution on the tip of her tongue. She knows that the solution is where she was heading last night.]

Aiden and I were down there when we were cleaning out the panic room. I don't remember having seen anything like that, but maybe he might have?

[Which ... might give her a cover to text him and Ray to ask the Bigger Question.]

Maybe we can find our way to this boat on our own.

Maybe the passageway Sara saw in her vision leads to the boats? I'll have to check in with Homelander and see what they found, if anything. He has xray vision so if anyone is going to have an easier time finding the entrance, it's him.

(she remembers jon, then.)

It means he can see through walls.

[ It's another strange supernatural power that he has not heard of before, and his facial expression clearly showed a moment of confusion before he nods in appreciation of Wynonna's explanation. ]

A useful ability.

[ There's a pause in the aftermath. ] It sounds like finding the boat is only half the trouble. The waters are dangerous. We'd need to be able to navigate them and navigate this boat in the right direction. [ The journey can't be an easy one from the sounds of it, and it will be all the more difficult without their having a map of the correct path to take. ]

And we'd need to deal with Mammon should we make it.

[ it's risky, but it's also a lot more than they've had to go on since barbas took over.

elena looks to wynonna with curiosity. ] Your vision — were you able to get a good read on Mammon? [ was his offer to help sincere? what sort of relationship do he and lucifer have? can he be trusted to really help? she has so many questions. ]

If Lucifer is telling us to reach out to him, he might be the only choice we have.

[Then again, given how Hell works, they might be trading one evil for another.]

But it would be nice to know if he's actually a non-evil choice.

I don't know if he's non-evil -- I mean he is friends with Lucifer but his offer for help did seem sincere, for what that's worth.

(it's a gamble, to be sure, but one they have to be willing to make.)

They seemed close, like old friends. Or fuck buddies. Hard to tell, but they were very familiar.

[ Jon's just gonna take a moment wondering what a 'fuck buddy' is.

A friend you fuck?

This seems pretty likely.

Hrm. ]

(wynonna spots the confusion on jon's face and takes pity.)

A fuck buddy is what it sounds like -- two friends who have sex without romance necessarily attached. You know, for fun.

(wynonna's had more than a few of those here in hell, it happens.)

Oh.

I'd thought as much from the... words.

[ ahem. but confirmation is helpful. there are plenty of people especially men in westeros who have sex as casually as they'd like.

but there was no term for it at all. jon is too worried about creating bastards to have casual sex thus why he couldn't "do it" with ros. ]

[Waverly frowns as she takes it all in.]

Do they have a way to contact him? Is that something we can do now?

[The sooner they get rid of Barbas the better.]

So apparently there's a radio in Barbas' office we need to steal to contact him.

(not that it matters since that radio is going to be stolen but wynonna doesn't know this.)

[ elena looks over to jon, a quiet and fond expression on her face. her amusement is always endeared and never mocking, aware some modern things go over his head. at wynonna's answer, however, she immediately looks back over to the rest of the group. ] A radio?

That's ... kind of old school. But I guess it would have to be to fly under the radar.

[She then glances over to Jon.]

A radio is kind of like a Blackberry, but less portable. They send messages to people who can hear the same frequency.

[ jon can feel elena's gaze on him which is why he looks back at her with a tiny fondness, an almsot smile in his eyes too. and then he nods to waverly, grateful for her explanation. of course, the modern world has another way to message one another that does not involve paper or birds. ]

Getting into Barbas' office won't be easy.

We'll need a plan, and we'll need to scout it out. [ to see how well it is guarded and how the door is opened. it will take time, but having a path feels better than having none. ]
